About Enemigo Tequila
Enemigo is an ultra-premium tequila brand built on genuine craft and uncompromising quality. Founded by entrepreneurs with deep roots in both the spirits industry and luxury brand building, Enemigo has grown rapidly across international markets, secured a Premier League sponsorship with Fulham FC and established itself as a serious challenger in the super-premium category. The brand is now majority Mexican-owned and entering its next phase of international expansion across the US, UK and EMEA.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Global Marketing Manager to shape how Enemigo shows up across international markets. This role blends luxury brand building with commercial execution – you will own the marketing function and be responsible for ensuring every campaign, activation and piece of content directly supports the brand’s growth, with the US as the primary market. This is a hands-on role with real creative ownership. You will lead campaigns, manage budgets, brief agencies and get into the detail of asset creation when needed. You will also work closely with sales and distribution partners to ensure marketing is always commercially grounded – not just aesthetically beautiful but driving results. Enemigo has an existing sports marketing presence through its Fulham FC partnership. You will play a key role in activating and extending this asset, as well as identifying future opportunities in sports and lifestyle partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Campaigns & Activations
- Lead the development and delivery of global and market-specific marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on the US market
- Own premium on-trade and off-trade activations, ensuring best-in-class brand experiences that convert
- Work closely with sales teams and distributors to align all marketing activity with commercial priorities and sell-through targets
- Activate and extend the Fulham FC sponsorship and explore new sports and lifestyle partnership opportunities
- Events & Luxury Experiences
- Plan and deliver trade, consumer and influencer events that reinforce Enemigo’s luxury positioning
- Support founder-led moments, product launches and international brand showcases
- Manage venues, partners and suppliers to ensure exceptional execution every time
- Social Media, Content & Digital
- Own global social media strategy, content planning and execution across all platforms
- Brief and manage agencies, creators and freelancers, ensuring quality and consistency
- Ensure all content reflects Enemigo’s premium aesthetic and tone of voice without exception
- Creative, POS & Brand Assets
- Design and adapt marketing assets as needed, including social content, POS, presentations and event materials
- Work hands-on with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools when required
- Lead development and global rollout of POS and brand materials, ensuring they are visually elevated and commercially effective
- Maintain brand consistency while tailoring assets for different markets and channels
- Communications, PR & Performance Marketing
- Support global communications and brand storytelling across earned and owned channels
- Coordinate with PR agencies and market partners on launches, announcements and press opportunities
- Own the marketing budget, tracking spend against ROI and reporting on performance to leadership
- Plan, manage and optimise paid media activity across key platforms
What Good Looks Like
In the first 6 months, you will have immersed yourself in the brand, built strong relationships with sales teams and distribution partners, taken full ownership of social media and content output, and delivered your first campaigns and activations in the US and UK markets. You will have a clear handle on the marketing budget and a plan for how to deploy it. By 12 months, you will have established a consistent and elevated brand presence across all channels, delivered measurable commercial impact through marketing-led activations, built a repeatable playbook for market launches and events, and become the go-to person for how Enemigo looks, feels and communicates globally.
About You
You have a sharp eye and strong opinions about what good looks like. You understand luxury brand codes instinctively – not from a textbook, but from real experience building or marketing premium products. You are as comfortable designing a social tile as you are presenting a campaign strategy to the founders. You are commercially minded. Beautiful work that does not drive results is not enough for you. You think about marketing through the lens of sell-through, distribution and brand equity, not just impressions and engagement. You have experience in spirits, alcohol, luxury FMCG or premium consumer brands and you understand the dynamics of on-trade and off-trade marketing. You are organised, autonomous and comfortable managing multiple markets and time zones simultaneously. You do not need a large team around you – you can brief agencies, manage freelancers and roll up your sleeves when the situation demands it. You thrive in an environment where ownership is real and the impact of your work is visible.
Why Enemigo
The chance to shape the global identity of a luxury tequila brand with genuine ambition and momentum. Direct exposure to founders and senior leadership from day one. Real creative ownership and autonomy – your work will define how the brand shows up. An existing sports marketing platform through the Fulham FC partnership, with scope to expand. Remote-first culture built on flexibility, trust and accountability.
