Finance Lead in Preston

Teqniq is searching for a Finance Lead to work in the public sector. 37 hours per week. Contract for 3 months but may be extended. 09:00-17:00 Job Description: County Hall, Preston/Working From Home. This role is required to develop the 2025/26 financial statements for the Public Sector Pension Fund in line with CIPFA standards. Seeking a qualified accountant to produce the 2025/26 Statement of Accounts of the Lancashire LGPS Pension Fund in accordance with the Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting in United Kingdom 2025/26. Previous experience of leading on the development of local authority financial statements is essential with previous experience on pension fund accounts being desirable.
