Job Description:
The Business Development Lead is a key role within TCS’ Market Unit, responsible for driving growth and transformation strategies to acquire target clients across various industries. This proactive demand generation and sales role focuses on acquiring new clients within the mid-market segment, leveraging TCS’s comprehensive portfolio of services.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating new large deal opportunities in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) mid-market segment, including new logo acquisitions and expanding existing relationships.
- Generating demand for TCS solutions and services in BFSI.
- Establishing relationships with CXOs and creating market momentum for TCS in targeted portfolios.
- Engaging with the TCS ecosystem to shape large deals proactively.
- Achieving TCV growth targets, originating deals, and acquiring new logos through demand generation, consultative selling, and thought leadership.
Qualifications:
- 12-15 years of selling experience, primarily in BFSI verticals.
- Strong industry connections and network leverage.
- Experience in a leading IT services or consulting firm, collaborating across global teams is preferred.
