One of the strategic ambitions of the Science Museum Group (SMG) is to extend our reach and to increase income. The Cultural and Commercial Partnerships team is critical in realising this aim, as they raise SMG’s profile nationally and internationally, commercially leveraging our brand, content, and skills and create new partnerships worldwide.
As Partnerships Manager, you will research and develop a portfolio of opportunities which will help increase the audience reach of Museums’ collections and raise SMG’s profile both nationally and internationally. Building partnerships for our groupwide touring exhibitions, consultancy and training activities, you will focus on business development, client relationship management, contract negotiations and various marketing activities. Your main target will be cultural clients namely museums, galleries and science centres.
As we endeavour to offer flexibility where possible, this role will work to a hybrid working pattern with regular visits to your local SMG site. We are open to where you are located across the country, as this role can either be based in London, Manchester, York or Bradford. However please note that regular travel will be required to London, as well as travel to other UK locations and abroad.
