About the role

We are looking for a Sales Director to lead and scale our Sales function. You will be responsible for driving our commercial strategy, managing the pipeline and revenue targets, and coaching a high-performing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will partner with Marketing and Customer success to optimize our GTM motion and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers as we scale.

Your Mission

  • Direct and scale Tenzo's existing Sales team, driving performance across both SMB and mid-market restaurant and hospitality segments.
  • Own the end-to-end commercial engine, including pipeline management, forecasting, revenue targets, and the refinement of our GTM strategy for different tiers.
  • Coach, mentor, and retain our existing team while fostering a strong, inclusive culture and building the operational rhythm.
  • Apply rigorous commercial discipline; leverage data to diagnose performance, optimize processes, and ensure we scale with quality.
  • Work closely with founders, marketing, and CS teams to align on demand generation, expansion, and retention strategies.

About you

  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales leadership, with specific experience scaling teams through the 2.5k to 5k+ customer/location growth stage.
  • Extensive experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location SMB sectors.
  • Successful experience leading sales teams across both high-velocity SMB and consultative mid-market/multi-unit motions.
  • A data-focused mindset with a history of consistently hitting and exceeding ambitious revenue targets over multiple years.
