Who we are

At Tenzo, we’re transforming the way restaurants operate. Our Restaurant Reporting & Intelligence platform brings together data from multiple systems to deliver real‑time, actionable insights — helping operators boost sales, cut waste, and run smoother businesses. We’re a team of hospitality enthusiasts and tech builders backed by top‑tier Silicon Valley investors and guided by experienced advisors. We work with 200+ logos including leading hospitality brands across Asia, Africa, North America, Europe, and Australia — and we’re just getting started. Join us on our mission to help restaurants around the world move from surviving to thriving.

About the role

You’ll be the operational core of our Finance team, working directly with the VP of Finance. Half your time will be keeping our reporting sharp and our systems running smoothly; the other half will be digging into the numbers to help us understand the business better. This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role — not a support function.

Your Mission

  • Own our internal management reporting: monthly P&L, board packs, KPI dashboards
  • Maintain and improve our finance systems (Xero, billing platform, integrations) — you’ll be the person who spots when something’s broken and fixes it
  • Track and report on our core SaaS metrics: MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV
  • Support month‑end close, reconciliations, and liaison with our external accountants
  • Build and improve processes — you actively look for what to automate, including with AI tools
  • Provide ad‑hoc analysis to support commercial decisions across the business

About you

  • 3–5 years in a finance role, with at least one position where you had clear individual ownership — of a reporting cycle, a system, or a close process
  • Strong in Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable building models from scratch
  • Hands‑on experience with Xero or similar bookkeeping tools, including admin and troubleshooting
  • You understand SaaS business models and why the metrics matter (MRR, NRR, churn, CAC)
  • Part‑qualified CIMA or ACCA — actively studying preferred
  • You see AI and automation as tools that free you up for better work
  • You’ve worked in a startup or scale‑up and are comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • You leave processes better than you found them

Work perks and benefits

  • Tenzo Swag – workstation perks, Macbook and all software needed on your first day
  • Work from Home – £75 work from home set up budget, which renews every year
  • Flexible Working – a minimum of 2 days a week in the London office
  • Stock Options – eligibility to our stock options program
  • Pension – ESG pension scheme
  • Office Location – WeWork Marylebone
