Tenzing Search are partnering with a global market infrastructure business to appoint a Reporting Manager within their EMEA finance function. This organisation operates at the heart of global financial markets, providing liquidity, price discovery and data solutions across asset classes including fixed income, FX, energy and commodities. With a strong regulatory framework and a complex trading environment, this is a high-profile finance role sitting close to revenue generation and legal entity control.
This role sits within the Reporting team and takes ownership of the accurate and timely month-end close across EMEA regulated and trading entities, with a primary focus on revenue control and legal entity oversight. You will manage the revenue control team, ensure a robust risk and controls framework is embedded, and provide assurance over the end-to-end revenue process in a fast-moving trading environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant with financial services experience who enjoys operating in a controlled, high-volume, revenue-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ownership of EMEA legal entity month-end close in line with group deadlines
- Oversight of trading revenue recognition, controls and reconciliations
- Management and development of the Revenue Control team
- Delivery of daily and monthly reporting (revenue reporting, FOBO reconciliations, flash reporting, AR to GL)
- Balance sheet substantiation and GL integrity
- Revenue analysis by business line and entity
- Supporting budgets, forecasts and key revenue drivers
- Strengthening the risk and control framework across revenue processes
- Year-end reporting, audit liaison and tax reporting support
- Continuous improvement of close processes and systems
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with several years' PQE
- Proven experience within financial services (brokerage, trading, capital markets, commodities, or similar regulated environments)
- Strong understanding of control frameworks and revenue recognition
- Experience managing teams in a close/reporting or revenue control function
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving target operating model
- Systems exposure (Oracle, SmartView, HFM/Onestream or similar) advantageous
- Exposure to a global, regulated trading environment
- High visibility role with senior stakeholder interaction
- Leadership responsibility within a complex revenue function
- Opportunity to influence and improve processes in a changing operating model
