Tenzai is building autonomous AI hackers that think like the world's best offensive security experts, act like them, and then help fix what they find before the real ones do. If this mission speaks to you, come defend the world's software: autonomously, continuously, and in-depth.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of offensive security and AI - and to have your expertise directly shape how a first-of-its-kind platform reaches the enterprise market. This role sits at the forefront of our go-to-market motion. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging and qualifying senior security decision-makers across the US market, working in close collaboration with the Director of Sales Development, the CRO and the founding team to build a repeatable and scalable outbound pipeline from the ground up.
We are looking for driven, commercially minded professionals with native-level British English, a proven track record in outbound sales development and the disposition to thrive in a high-growth, pre-revenue environment. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the architecture of a sales function - not to execute within one that already exists. For candidates looking to accelerate their career in cybersecurity sales, Tenzai offers a genuinely rare platform - early access to a high-calibre leadership team, direct exposure to enterprise-level deals and the kind of professional development that only comes from building something significant from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Own outbound prospecting into the UK market - identifying, researching and engaging security leaders at target accounts.
- Managing inbound lead flow and convert them into pipeline for sales team.
- Meeting or exceeding SDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAO) volume targets.
- Collaborating with teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging; developing opportunities using predictive tools.
- Utilizing industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create compelling events, and develop accounts.
- Working to have a variety of touches (call, email, social, etc…) on leads in your territory to ensure KPI attainment.
- Managing, tracking, reporting on all activities and results.
- Attending and supporting in-person events, to drive on booth conversations and build strategic pipelines.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years experience of selling within the sales cycle.
- Native-level British English - Written and spoken.
- 2+ years of experience selling into the UK cybersecurity market.
- Located in the Tel Aviv or London area.
- Experienced in identifying business needs through information-gathering to pre-qualify opportunities.
- Be comfortable speaking with decision makers via various mediums (social, email, phone and video).
- Have positive and engaging phone skills, excellent listening and writing skills.
- Have tech industry experience or experience in sales development, marketing or sales.
- Have strong outbound prospecting experience.
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership and curiosity.
- Experience using tools like Outreach, Clay, Apollo, Salesloft or LinkedIn Sales Navigator - An advantage.
- You've worked at a pre-revenue or early-stage startup before and know what that pace feels like - An advantage.
Working on problems that matter - Software is now written and deployed faster than it can be secured. Attackers are beginning to use AI to find vulnerabilities at scale. Tenzai exists to close that gap. It's a mission that requires elite hackers, and also sharp storytellers, wicked-smart operators, and experienced market builders.
Building a category in the making - Tenzai is defining a new category in cybersecurity. That means every team — from research and engineering to product, brand, and go-to-market — has a chance to shape how the industry understands and adopts autonomous security. If you thrive building something from zero and helping a new idea take hold in the world, keep reading.
Talent density - We believe small teams of exceptional people outperform large organizations. Tenzai was founded by veteran security experts and repeat entrepreneurs. We hire deliberately and value curiosity, initiative, and craftsmanship, whatever your discipline.
Creating real impact, quickly - Whether you're building systems, shaping product experiences, telling the story, or helping customers succeed, your work will immediately influence how organizations secure their software. We move quickly, keep teams lean, and give humans ownership.
Ambition with humility - We're tackling hard problems with a team that values deep expertise and thoughtful collaboration. Everyone here is learning, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Plus, we love eating lunch together.
