We’re working with a leading organisation in the Energy & Utilities sector that is looking to hire an experienced Product Owner to support the delivery of high-quality digital products at scale. This role sits within a mature digital environment and will suit someone who is delivery-focused, customer-centric, and comfortable operating within a SAFe framework.
Key responsibilities- Act as the voice of the customer, identifying key problems and translating user needs into valuable digital products and solutions.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, shaping high-quality user stories aligned to product strategy and cost of delay.
- Guide solution design using Lean UX, working closely with delivery teams and architects to ensure scalable, high-quality outcomes.
- Balance customer and stakeholder needs across the business to drive the best delivery decisions.
- Accept and validate delivered work against acceptance criteria and Definition of Done, championing built-in quality.
- Participate in team and ART events, using feedback, data, and learning cycles to continuously evolve the product.
- Proven Product Owner experience within a digital environment.
- Strong background leading product development from concept through to delivery.
- Clear delivery focus with a track record of releasing quality products to market.
- Experience anticipating and supporting strategic product evolution.
- Strong knowledge of digital best practices and Lean / Agile delivery.
- SAFe training or certification is essential.
