This role is ideal for someone with a strong Azure infrastructure and applications background who's ready to take a step towards solution and enterprise architecture. The organisation is going through a major technology transformation and is strengthening its architecture capability. At this stage, the focus is on solution design rather than pure delivery, supporting architectural decisions, understanding how systems fit together and documenting solutions properly. It's been described as an Azure infrastructure operations role for someone who wants to move into architecture and learn. You'll work closely with senior architecture leadership, gaining exposure to real design decisions and large-scale change.

What you'll be involved in:

  • Supporting solution design and architectural assessments across enterprise platforms
  • Translating requirements into logical and conceptual solution designs
  • Producing and maintaining architecture diagrams and documentation
  • Working across Azure infrastructure, applications, and integrations
  • Supporting governance forums and solution review processes
  • Acting as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
