Senior Full Stack Engineer - Symfony and Angular in Sheffield

A rapidly growing scale-up software company are recruiting for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team. They are building an API-first platform to help B2B businesses analyse marketing and lead data.

They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in PHP (ideally Symfony) and confidence working with modern front-end technologies, particularly Angular.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using PHP/Symfony.
• Contributing to front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks, ideally Angular.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver elegant, high-quality solutions.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Contributing to architectural discussions, helping shape the technical direction of new and existing systems.
• Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices, applying them to improve development processes and outcomes.

The successful candidate will have strong experience developing backend applications with PHP, ideally using Symfony (Laravel also considered) as well as experience working with modern front-end frameworks, ideally Angular. Experience working with AWS is preferred.

This is a fully remote role but you must be UK based.
