We’re looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of automated testing strategy and help scale quality across a growing engineering function. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll lead automation initiatives, work closely with product and engineering teams, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in defining testing approaches, building robust automation frameworks, and mentoring other QA engineers, while contributing directly to the delivery of high‑quality, reliable software.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing automated end‑to‑end and performance testing frameworks
- Implementing and maintaining automated E2E and performance test suites
- Working closely with product and engineering stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and test coverage
- Leading QA automation initiatives and promoting best practices across teams
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced QA automation engineers
- Ensuring automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Helping to establish measurable quality standards and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience designing, writing, and optimising automated tests using modern E2E frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright
- Proven experience enabling and running automated tests in cloud‑based environments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- Strong background in QA automation leadership, including owning test strategies and frameworks
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a quality‑first mindset
Nice to Have
- Cypress and TypeScript experience
- AWS exposure
- Automated performance testing experience
- CI/CD‑based test automation
- Previous experience mentoring or leading QA automation teams
