I am looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a specialist in the telecommunications industry as they embark on a series of exciting projects. Their goal is to create a brand new data warehouse and they are looking for someone with knowledge of either data modelling, ETL procedures or database design principles. Your primary objective will be to have a strong grasp of technical requirements, translate them into business requirements and also work on BAU requests from the wider team.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Gathering and analysing technical requirements and translating them to business requirements
  • Facilitating technical workshops
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for all changes to the data systems
  • Working closely with the data architecture team to ensure data model changes align with the business data strategy
  • Leading projects to propose data model changes and ensuring data mapping exercises are carried out

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong experience working as a Business Analyst on data focused projects
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL procedures or database design principles
  • Understanding of database architecture
  • Requirements gathering and ability to document technical requirements

This is largely a remote role, but the client does have an office near Brighton if you wish to work in person. The role is offering a starting salary of up to £68,000 depending on experience, plus a full company benefits package.
