I am seeking a highly skilled Powercurve Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience in the banking domain, particularly focused on credit risk strategies.
About the role:
This role requires a developer who is proficient in SQL, has exposure to database concepts, and has a strong understanding of building and enhancing credit risk management solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Powercurve products, including PCO and PCSM, as well as experience working with Origination Design Studio (ODS).
Required skills and experience:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant development experience, with a strong focus on the banking domain and credit risk strategies.
- Extensive hands-on experience working on Powercurve products, particularly PCO and PCSM.
- Proven expertise in working with Origination Design Studio (ODS).
- Strong experience in developing segmentation, lookup components, and other PCSM components.
- Medium proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
Nice to haves:
- Proficiency in Agile methodology for requirement gathering and SDLC processes.
- Aware of data warehousing, big data, and cloud ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of data control principles, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Knowledge of data quality and validation techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing credit risk strategies using Powercurve products (PCO, PCSM).
- Working on segmentation, lookup components, and other PCSM components to support business requirements.
- Designing, developing, and optimising solutions within Origination Design Studio (ODS).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Writing and optimising SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and integration.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality software, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Location: Northampton (2-3 days in the office)
