Platform Engineer

Platform Engineer Hybrid (London) – £70,000 ( No Sponsorship)

Work with a purpose-driven, sustainable technology company using software to reduce environmental impact and build a greener future. As we scale our platform, we’re looking for a Platform Engineer to help design, operate, and improve the infrastructure that powers our products.

This is a fully remote role, offering autonomy, meaningful work, and the chance to make a real-world impact.

What you’ll do

• Support and improve cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enable reliable, scalable deployments
• Improve platform reliability, security, and performance
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and operational best practices
• Monitor platform health and help troubleshoot production issues

What we’re looking for

Main Tech Stack / Core Focus

• Kubernetes (K8s) – heavy, hands-on focus operating and scaling clusters in production
• Linux – strong experience across on-prem / physical infrastructure and cloud environments
• Hybrid infrastructure – combining on-prem systems with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Python – scripting and automation for platform operations, tooling, and reliability
• Containers – Docker and cloud-native tooling
