A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised, positive, proactive, experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant (Maternity Cover FTC 1 year) to join our fast-paced internal Talent Acquisition team (TA) at our global HQ reporting to the TA Manager.

You will be joining our global HQ in Newcastle, with some hybrid working available after initial induction in TA.

Role Overview

We’re delighted to announce a rare specialist Talent Acquisition Consultant (Maternity Cover FTC 1 year initially with discretionary view to extend) to help us find the best talent. You will partner with business leaders to create hiring plans, source candidates, and manage the full hiring cycle internally. You will act as a trusted advisor to ensure we hire skilled, diverse, and driven early careers and established professionals in Sales/Recruitment predominantly for the UK & Nordics teams in Newcastle & London. You may sometimes assist cover of ad hoc wider hiring delivery such as Central Services teams, plus other regions such as Europe, JAPAC or USA as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Hiring Managers: understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Write Job Descriptions: craft clear, engaging, and inclusive job postings to attract top candidates to TRG for a variety of levels and office locations.
  • Source Candidates: use LinkedIn Talent Solutions, job boards, referrals, adverts and professional networks to create active and passive pipeline.
  • Manage the Hiring Process: screen CVs, conduct initial assessments, arrange interviews, close offers, arrange onboarding and carry out post placement care.
  • Advise on Hiring: guide interviewers, secure approval for offers, share commercial insights.
  • Track Metrics: monitor important data, like time-to-hire to improve process efficiency as well as being accountable for own KPIs daily/weekly/monthly to be successful reviewed in 121s, MBRs.

Who We Want

  • Experience: preferably 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (either external or internal).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/HR or a related field (optional, open to any subject).
  • Skills: proactive headhunting techniques (Linked-In, Job Boards, Ads etc) proven ability to source & fill vacancies end to end, familiarity with (ATS) & stakeholder management.
  • Communication: excellent people, sales/negotiation skills sourcing/closing placements.
  • Other: organised, positive, resilient mindset able to adjust to changing business needs.
