Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior B2B Events Marketing Contractor to join our Marketing team for an initial 6-month contract. This role will focus on the planning, delivery and optimisation of B2B events across the tech talent ecosystem — including:
- Industry conferences
- Partner-led events
- Community and ecosystem activations
- Virtual and hybrid tech events
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality events that support brand visibility, pipeline growth and partner engagement, working closely with sales, partnerships and marketing stakeholders. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on events professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys owning delivery end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of B2B events, both in-person and virtual
- Execute events aligned to tech talent communities, vendor ecosystems and industry audiences
- Manage all event logistics including venues, suppliers, registrations and timelines
- Collaborate with Sales and Partnerships teams to maximise event ROI
- Deliver integrated event campaigns across email, social and digital channels
- Coordinate event collateral including presentations, signage and digital assets
- Track and report on event performance, leads and engagement metrics
- Manage event budgets and supplier spend
- Maintain detailed project plans using tools such as Smartsheet/Jira
- Conduct market and audience research to inform event selection and targeting
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years’ experience delivering B2B marketing events
- Strong background in tech, digital, recruitment, SaaS or professional services environments
- Proven experience managing multiple events simultaneously
- Experience delivering events within industry ecosystems or partner communities
- Confident working autonomously in a contract role
- Experience using project management tools (Smartsheet/Jira)
- Proficiency with Marketing Automation/CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
