Tenth Revolution Group have a brilliant new opportunity to join our commercial Billing team on a 6 month fixed term initial contract as a strategic hands-on Billing Manager. Responsible for the management and delivery of the Contractor timesheet management & Client billing operations function worldwide. You’ll drive operational performance, ensure service excellence, and lead the team to deliver a consistent, compliant, and high-quality experience for every Client/Contractor. This is a direct billing role, personally processing billing/invoicing leading from the front on best practice/process/stakeholder management & actively developing a small team (3-4 people).
As the Commercial Billing Manager, you add immediate impact owning day-to-day management and delivery of the Contractor timesheet management and Client billing operations function worldwide. You’ll drive operational performance, ensure service excellence, and lead the team to deliver a consistent, compliant, and high-quality experience for every Client and Contractor. Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on leadership for Contractor Billing team, driving performance to meet productivity & quality targets through workflow management/continuous coaching.
- Oversee day-to-day operation including allocation of workload, SLA adherence, and prioritisation of invoicing tasks across global regions (UK, EUROPE, APAC and USA).
- Monitor team productivity/output through daily dashboards, performance metrics.
- Ensuring service standards and deadlines are consistently met weekly/monthly etc.
- Lead daily or weekly operational stand-ups to review progress, resolve bottlenecks.
- Keep the team focused on delivery (collaborating with successful current staff too).
- Final escalation point for invoicing issues, swift resolution/stakeholder confidence.
- Supervise end-to-end client invoicing lifecycle (invoice generation/accuracy/on time).
- Maintain direct oversight of all invoice workflows, actively reviewing requirements/compliance documents.
- Smooth client experience through clear communication, proactive follow-up, ownership.
- Generate/review KPIs. Ensure all processes comply with company policies and standards.
- Conduct regular audits of files and documentation to maintain full compliance readiness.
- Partner with Commercial Finance team to resolve complex cases/minimise risk exposure.
- Primary contact for complex billing issues, resolving disputes with Clients by collaborating with Sales, Credit Control and Client services teams to align delivery with client requirements.
- Build relationships/communicate clearly with Clients, providing updates and resolving issues quickly to enhance satisfaction.
- Own Billing performance reporting tracking KPIs (turnaround times, accuracy and accruals).
- Identify daily/weekly operational issues, process/system improvements, increase efficiency.
- Champion best practice/contribute to the design rollout of automation or workflow tools.
