I’m currently recruiting for a Mid/Senior/Manager GCP Cloud Engineer to join a fast‑growing Cloud Managed Services team within a leading global consulting environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of AI, Data, and Cloud transformation, supporting enterprise clients in building, managing, and optimising modern cloud platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for enterprise clients
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud services and applications
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, templates, and tooling (Python‑based)
- Implement and manage cloud security and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality cloud solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support continuous improvement through DevOps and automation best practices
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
The ideal candidate brings:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with GCP infrastructure and services
- Solid understanding of: Compute (VMs), Networking, Storage, Serverless architectures, Security and identity management
- Experience with GCP networking (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, gateways, hybrid connectivity)
- Proven ability to implement cloud security and compliance solutions
- Strong Python skills for scripting and automation
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (Jira, ADO, pipelines, repos)
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly
- (For Managers and Seniors) Ability to lead projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions
