A fast-growing London Market insurance and reinsurance broker is seeking a senior Development Manager / Technology Delivery Lead to play a central role in how technology is used to transform complex, large-scale broking. The business specialises in high-value, complex risks across areas such as aviation, property/casualty and reinsurance. The business now needs someone tech-agnostic, commercially minded, and comfortable leading multiple streams of technical delivery in an environment that is increasingly shaped by AI and emerging technologies.
You'll operate at Development Manager level, owning delivery across a mixed internal and external engineering landscape. Your remit will span Salesforce teams, data and integration work, and newer AI-driven initiatives - ensuring consistent quality, pace and alignment with business priorities.
- Leading and coordinating internal and third-party development teams across multiple platforms
- Supporting the evolution of AI-enabled development approaches across the organisation
This is not a "Head of Data" or purely architectural role - it is hands-on leadership, delivery ownership, and problem-solving at pace.
Proven experience as a Development Manager, Technology Manager, Head of Systems, or similar.
Strong background in insurance or financial services (London Market experience is a plus).
Salesforce experience is beneficial, but not essential.
Exposure to AI-enabled development workflows, such as:
- AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Vibe coding / rapid prototyping approaches)
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI initiatives alongside core enterprise platforms
Competitive senior-level compensation and bonus structure.
