A London Market insurance organisation is seeking a Senior Data Modeller to design and govern enterprise-grade data models across core insurance domains. This role requires deep domain knowledge, hands-on modelling expertise, and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise data models across policy, underwriting, claims and reinsurance
- Develop and govern Data Vault and Dimensional models
- Select appropriate modelling approaches based on integration, analytics and audit requirements
- Design data structures aligned to cloud and Medallion architectures
- Lead data modelling workshops and design sessions
- Embed data quality, governance, and traceability into models
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience as a Data Modeller within Insurance, ideally London Market
- Strong domain knowledge of Delegated Authority, Reinsurance
- Expert understanding of Canonical, Data Vault, and Dimensional modelling
- Experience working with cloud data platforms
- Strong SQL skills for data profiling and validation
- Confident engaging business and technology stakeholders
