A global enterprise organisation is looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of an internal AI-enabled platform focused on workflow automation and support operations. This role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, owning delivery across frontend, backend, APIs, and AI-driven workflows at scale.

You will lead the build of an end-to-end internal platform used by employees to manage workflows, automate tasks, and enhance operational efficiency. This includes designing and implementing AI-powered workflows (e.g. automated support, task resolution, and intelligent routing) integrated with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership & Architecture
    • Define end-to-end architecture across frontend, backend, APIs, and AI-driven workflows
    • Make architectural decisions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices
    • Mentor engineers and provide hands-on technical guidance
    • Ensure performance, scalability, security, and resilience
  • Full Stack Engineering
    • Build user-facing applications for internal users and support teams
    • Develop backend services, APIs, and workflow engines
    • Design and implement AI-powered workflows using LLMs
    • Build features such as chat interfaces, task automation, and case management
    • Implement guardrails, error handling, fallback logic, and human-in-the-loop processes
  • Delivery Ownership
    • Own delivery from design through to deployment
    • Work with product and business stakeholders to define requirements
    • Lead agile ceremonies and delivery planning
    • Manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges
  • Integration & Platform Enablement
    • Integrate with enterprise systems (e.g. identity, ITSM, collaboration tools)
    • Implement secure authentication, RBAC, and auditing
    • Support production release and operational readiness
  • Governance & Stakeholder Communication
    • Ensure compliance with internal governance and security standards
    • Communicate decisions and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Contribute to engineering best practices
Core Requirements
  • Strong full stack development experience (frontend + backend)
  • Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java
  • Experience building production-grade APIs and web applications
  • Experience leading technical delivery in agile environments
  • Strong API design, system design, and architectural skills
  • Understanding of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI workflows
  • Strong knowledge of security, authentication, and secure coding
  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
Preferred Experience
  • Experience integrating with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk)
  • Experience with collaboration platforms (e.g. Slack, Teams)
  • Experience building internal platforms or enterprise tools
  • Exposure to financial services or regulated industries
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and CI/CD

Working Model: Hybrid working (typically 3 days on-site)

Compensation: Competitive contract rate, flexible depending on scope and experience.
