Overview
We're supporting a major programme entering Phase 2 and are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to join on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a modern data platform leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies, contributing to key data transformation initiatives.
This role suits someone with a blend of engineering and analytical capability, comfortable operating across data modelling, platform development, and business-facing analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise data pipelines across the Azure data ecosystem
- Work with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics to deliver scalable data solutions
- Perform data modelling and transformation to support reporting and analytics use cases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
- Support and enhance the Microsoft data platform environment
- Contribute to workshops and key stakeholder sessions as required
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Proven background in the Azure Data Platform (incl. Synapse Analytics)
- Experience in data engineering and/or data analysis roles
- Solid understanding of data modelling principles
- Hands-on experience with data transformation and integration workflows
- Ability to operate in both technical and stakeholder-facing environments
Working Arrangement
- Hybrid model with flexibility required
