We are seeking an experienced Copilot Consultant to support a large-scale Microsoft Copilot rollout within a complex education sector organisation. This is a hands-on contract role focused on both the technical enablement of Copilot and the people-side delivery required to ensure successful adoption at scale.
You will work closely with technical teams, data specialists, and senior stakeholders to design, implement, and embed Copilot capabilities, while also delivering workshops, training, and guidance to a wide range of user groups.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the technical aspects of a Microsoft Copilot rollout, including readiness, configuration, security, compliance, and integration with M365 services.
- Assess and advise on data readiness, including information architecture, permissions, sensitivity labels, and governance required to maximise Copilot value.
- Partner with stakeholders across IT, data, and business functions to translate organisational needs into practical Copilot use cases.
- Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and enablement materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Act as a trusted advisor on adoption, change, and best practice, tailored to an education sector environment.
- Support continuous improvement through feedback, refinement of use cases, and optimisation of Copilot deployment.
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Copilot rollouts at scale, with strong hands-on technical capability.
- Solid background in data, information management, and governance, particularly within Microsoft 365.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and identity considerations in Copilot deployments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to confidently run workshops and training sessions.
- Experience working in or with large, complex organisations (education sector experience is a plus).
- Comfortable operating in a contract environment and owning delivery outcomes.
- Experience with adoption frameworks and change management for M365 or AI initiatives.
- Previous engagement within higher education or public sector organisations.
- Familiarity with best practices for responsible AI and data usage in regulated environments.
Engagement Details: Outside IR35 £450 per day, 6-month initial contract, with a strong likelihood of extension, Remote-first, with occasional travel to sites across the South of England.
