I am working with a specialist technology services provider that is currently recruiting for a SQL Server Developer to join their growing remote team. This organisation partners with businesses across the UK to support and optimise complex SQL Server environments. They specialise in database, server, cloud, and application services with a strong emphasis on proactive performance management, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities- Diagnosing and resolving SQL Server performance issues across queries, indexes and execution plans
- Tuning stored procedures, user‑defined functions and ETL processes to improve scalability and speed
- Working closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver efficient technical solutions
- Promote performance best practices and support other members of the team
- Strong experience with SQL Server, with a focus on performance tuning
- Deep understanding of indexing and execution plans
- Experience using PowerShell for automation
- Hands‑on experience with Azure SQL databases
- Salary up to £50,000
- Fully remote working from anywhere in the UK
