Head of Service Reliability and Senior Recovery Lead – hybrid role based in Sheffield or Birmingham. This position leads a global team of technical experts who act as escalation partners during major incidents to reduce time to recover (TTR) through deep technical engagement, coordination, and engineering-driven solutions. The leader will own the strategic and tactical roadmap for building reliable, self-healing systems through collaboration with Problem Management, SRE, and Platform teams. Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team of technical experts acting as escalation partners during major incidents to reduce time to recover (TTR) through deep technical engagement and engineering-driven solutions.
  • Own the strategic and tactical roadmap for building reliable, self-healing systems.
  • Collaborate with Problem Management, SRE, and Platform teams to improve service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Design and run resilience exercises, chaos engineering, or incident scenario testing at scale.
  • Provide excellent stakeholder management and communication, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
