I am working with a Microsoft Partnered consultancy that is helping organisations modernise their cloud data platforms. With a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric and cloud-first architecture, they are looking to bring on a Lead Fabric Consultant to design and deliver impactful solutions across multiple client projects. This is a hands-on role where you will work across the full Microsoft Fabric stack, collaborating with architects, analysts and external stakeholders to build scalable data platforms that enable advanced analytics and enterprise reporting.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing end-to-end data architecture aligned with modern best practices
  • Building and managing ingestion pipelines using Fabric Data Factory
  • Developing PySpark/Spark SQL notebooks for complex transformations and cleansing
  • Applying governance, security, and CI/CD best practices across Fabric environments
  • Leading client workshops and producing professional documentation

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric workloads (Lakehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks)
  • Strong PySpark/Spark SQL skills for large-scale transformations
  • Experience integrating with a variety of different sources such as Dynamics 365, Dataverse or Business Central
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub
