We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a dynamic AWS-focused team. This role involves building and optimising data pipelines, delivering scalable solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client objectives.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain AWS data pipeline architecture
- Develop solutions using Python, AWS Glue, Step Functions, EMR and Redshift
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices for security and scalability
- Work closely with developers, architects, and analysts on data initiatives
Required Skillset
- 5+ years professional experience in Data engineering roles
- Strong Python programming experience
- Hands-on AWS services: Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR, Redshift
- Proficiency with PySpark and Spark SQL
- Understanding of infrastructure, deployment strategies, and capacity planning
- Experience with CI/CD in AWS
- Financial background
