This is a great opportunity to join a MS Gold Partner who specialise in delivering enterprise-scale Azure cloud infrastructure across Nuclear, Defence, and Government clients. They are happy for someone to work remotely in this role and offer a flexible working culture around family life. Please note they do require any applicants to be eligible for SC Clearance (any current SC Clearance would be a bonus!).
Key responsibilities:
- Building and managing secure Azure environments (IaaS & PaaS)
- Designing Azure Landing Zones for large-scale deployments
- Developing Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ARM/Terraform)
- Creating and improving CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins)
- Implementing security best practices (RBAC, IAM, Private Link, firewalls)
- Monitoring, optimising, and troubleshooting Azure environments
Experience required:
- 3+ years’ experience in Azure infrastructure engineering
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking & security
- Experience with Landing Zones & enterprise cloud frameworks
- Hands-on with IaC + CI/CD (YAML)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or Python)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices
- Azure certifications (Architect / DevOps) are a big plus
