We are currently seeking a Databricks Engineer to support a large-scale data platform migration project, moving from Azure SQL to Databricks. Working as part of an established data team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising data solutions whilst ensuring the successful migration of existing workloads into a modern Databricks environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration of data workloads from Azure SQL to Databricks
- Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes within Azure and Databricks
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers and business stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, integrity and performance throughout the migration
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
- Contribute to best practices across data engineering and platform development
Required Skills Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks
- Advanced SQL development skills
- Experience working within Microsoft Azure environments
