We are partnering with a high-growth, international reinsurance firm to appoint a Chief Data Officer (CDO) – a newly created, strategic leadership role at the heart of the business.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a firm-wide data strategy in an organisation where data is seen as a true differentiator – powering insights, enhancing client experience, and enabling innovation. It would be well-suited to someone who is already operating in a leadership role in the Loyd's of London marketplace i.e. as a Head of Data (or similar), and is looking to step into a C-level role. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business and revenue goals
- Own and evolve the enterprise-wide data model to support analytics and seamless tech integration
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and deliver high-impact insights across financial forecasting, segmentation, and carrier analysis
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance
- Enable the use of AI and big data technologies in collaboration with innovation and tech teams
