What you'll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end business and data analysis across London Market domains, including syndicates, delegated authority, reinsurance, and the full policy lifecycle.
  • Use SQL to perform hands-on data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and data quality assessments.
  • Own data mapping activities, including source-to-target mappings, business rules, transformation logic, lineage, and traceability.
  • Review existing reports, extracts, and data flows to identify optimisation and reuse opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into clear data and system requirements, including BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and close collaboration with delivery teams.
  • Act as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key experience we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in London Market / Lloyd's insurance.
  • Strong understanding of syndicates, delegated authority / bordereaux, reinsurance & ceded reinsurance and the full policy lifecycle.
  • Excellent SQL skills for data analysis, profiling, validation and reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience with data profiling, data quality management and source-to-target data mapping, including business rules and transformation logic.
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
