I'm currently working with a client in the financial sector looking for a Head of Data & Analytics. You will need to be a problem solver capable of building their entire data function from scratch, setting the strategy, architecture, governance including all reporting foundations needed to enable a fully data-driven environment.
Required skillset:
- Strong experience in data-focused roles within financial services, investments, or pensions.
- Expertise in data governance, quality management, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Python, and modern BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience implementing or managing enterprise data platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
Location - Birmingham (3 days per week onsite requirement). Sponsorship is not available for this role.
