I'm currently working with an organisation looking for a hands-on AI Engineer who can build production-grade AI solutions and deliver technical training to experienced engineering audiences. This is a unique opportunity to combine AI development, solution architecture, mentoring and technical education in a highly visible role.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years in Software Engineering, Data, ML or AI
- Proven experience building and deploying GenAI applications
- Strong knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases and retrieval systems
- Experience with AI agents, tool calling and workflow orchestration
- AI evaluation, observability, guardrails and LLMOps expertise
- Advanced Python development skills
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic or similar LLM platforms
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Previous training, coaching, mentoring, or technical workshop delivery experience
Location: Mostly remote with occasional travel to London
Duration: 6 months (Possibility for extension)
Daily rate: TBC (outside IR35)
