As a Data Engineer, you'll collaborate with architects, consultants and engineering teams to design, build and support robust data solutions across cloud environments.
Working with technologies such as AWS, Python and modern data platforms, you'll contribute to the development of data pipelines, analytic capabilities and cloud-native services while gaining exposure to AI being implemented into advanced long-term projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver defined work packages and technical tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, schedule and troubleshoot batch and micro-batch data pipelines.
- Support and enhance cloud-based data platforms and analytic solutions.
- Manage API integration and database connectivity.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers and wider project teams to solve
- Contribute to team planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues in an agile engineering setting.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in data engineering, including Python.
- Experience working with AWS ETL services.
- Experience querying and managing data held within AWS S3
- Experience managing API integration and database connectivity.
- Familiarity with Git Lab or similar source control and Dev Ops platforms.
- Experience using Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
- Experience supporting production systems and live service environments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
