Data Migration Engineer / Data Engineer London (minimum 3 days per week onsite) Outside IR35 | Approx. £450/day Contract running through to end of year A Lloyd's of London reinsurer is commencing a major cloud migration programme and is seeking contractors with proven, hands-on experience delivering Azure to GCP migrations. Essential Experience Must have delivered a migration of data platforms, pipelines, or workloads from Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Demonstrable experience mapping and migrating Azure services to their GCP equivalents. Experience migrating data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and associated datasets from Azure into GCP environments. Strong understanding of Azure data services and the GCP ecosystem. Experience planning, executing, testing, and supporting cloud migration projects. Financial Services experience strongly preferred, ideally within insurance, reinsurance, or Lloyd's market organisations. Key Point This is not a general Data Engineer role.
