The Role
We’re looking for a mid-weight Creative Artworker / Designer to join our in-house creative team, working closely with our Graphic Designer, Head of Content, and wider marketing team. This role is focused on turning strong creative concepts into high-performing, scalable assets, particularly for paid media. You’ll help shape ideas as well as execute them, taking lead-level design direction and turning concepts into multiple iterations, formats, and variations optimised for performance, clarity, and speed.
You’ll sit at the intersection of craft, systems, and commercial impact: someone who enjoys refining layouts, sharpening message hierarchy, and building repeatable frameworks that allow us to test, learn, and scale creative efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Input: Contribute ideas and design thinking during concept development, especially for performance-led creative.
- Creative Adaptation: Turn lead concepts into multiple iterations for paid social, display, CRM, and campaigns.
- Conversion Focus: Produce creative that clearly communicates key messages, benefits, and CTAs.
- Visual Clarity: Apply strong hierarchy and clarity for fast-scroll, high-competition environments.
- Design Systems: Build and maintain Figma systems, templates, and components for rapid production and testing.
- Asset Versioning: Support localisation, resizing, formatting, and multi-channel adaptation.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with the Graphic Designer to preserve creative intent while scaling output.
- Performance Insight: Partner with marketing and performance teams to apply learnings from what’s working.
- System Evolution: Help evolve templates for use by internal teams, agencies, and automation or AI workflows.
Ideal Candidate
- Design Fundamentals: Strong skills in layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy – demonstrated in portfolio work.
- Performance Creative: Proven experience designing paid social or performance-led digital campaigns that delivered measurable results.
- Brand Execution: Ability to take existing concepts, brand guidelines, and creative direction and produce high-quality outputs.
- Systems Thinking: Confident building and maintaining Figma components, styles, and libraries; able to scale designs efficiently.
- Commercial Mindset: Designs with clarity and conversion in mind, balancing creativity with business goals.
- Workflow Discipline: Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage high-volume creative production under deadlines.
- Iteration & Problem-Solving: Enjoys testing, refining, and improving creative; able to respond to feedback and performance data.
- Platform Awareness: Understands platform-specific requirements and trends (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Reels, Shorts).
- Portfolio Evidence: Can show examples of work that demonstrate impact, creativity, and ability to iterate based on performance.
Desirable Skills
- Creative Testing: Familiarity with creative testing frameworks or using performance insights to inform design.
- Multi-Platform Adaptation: Experience adapting creative for multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, display).
- Motion Graphics: Basic experience with motion graphics (e.g., simple animations for paid social).
