About the Role: As an Associate Project Manager, your role transitions from day-to-day task management to strategic oversight and team development.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Managing complex projects from inception/feasibility through to completion and handover. You will likely lead a portfolio of projects rather than a single site.
- Safety-Critical Focus: Leading fire remediation and recladding projects, ensuring strict compliance with the latest UK building safety regulations.
- Team Management: Acting as a line manager for approximately two direct reports, with a heavy emphasis on mentoring junior or assistant project managers toward chartership (RICS or CIOB).
- Client Engagement: Serving as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, managing expectations, and supporting strategic business development to grow the Manchester office's reach.
- Financial Oversight: Managing project budgets, including forecasting, fee management, and commercial reporting.
- Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Working closely with Bailey Partnership's in-house architects, building surveyors, and engineers to provide a seamless "one-stop-shop" service to clients.
