We are excited to offer an opportunity for an ACE to join our Commercial Team. If you are passionate about driving growth and innovation in proprietary mechanical soil stabilisation technology and have a strong background in Civil Engineering sales, this role is perfect for you. This role is centred around temporary (haul roads, compounds, crane/piling platforms) and permanent (public/private road pavements) works applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new opportunities through proactive specification generation, nurture repeat business, and scope incoming enquiries.
- Focus on account management of our UK partners, providing sales and manufacturing forecasts, and supporting product portfolio development and innovation.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow specifications of Tensar stabilisation products, nurture both internal and external commercial relationships, and drive opportunity pipeline growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, build credibility and identify new leads.
- Manage client relationships with high-quality contacts, including presentations and workshops.
- Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with installation partners to ensure the growth of the asphalt interlayer product range.
- Liaise with commercial departments such as product management, technology and design for continuous solution evolution, providing accurate sales forecasts and manufacturing requirements.
- Handle partner trading and commercial arrangements, ensuring competitive and customer-focused project solutions.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and pass leads to other teams, utilising the CRM system for customer and project data management.
Experience and Qualifications:
- BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering or related degree.
- Experience in consultative technical selling based on specifications and value.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify new sales opportunities.
- Experience in a related Civil Engineering sales role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where prioritisation of tasks is essential.
- Active membership of relevant organisation/institute such as IHE, RTSA, CIHT, etc (desirable).
- Awareness of Tensar, our products and solutions, and how our work contributes to the delivery of Civil Engineering projects worldwide.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Clear confident and credible communicator with strong presentation skills, both online and in-person.
- Self-motivated with a focus on achieving sector targets.
