Job Purpose:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing projects which have been assessed and prioritised, using the most appropriate Tensar solution, in a timely manner. These projects will be technically sound and fit for customer requirements as well as commercially advantageous to Tensar and the customer. They must demonstrate and deliver value added solutions. The position holder will take ownership for the projects they are responsible for. They will communicate effectively and build relationships internally and externally on these projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively protects own work life balance while remaining focused on ensuring safe working practices that protect self and others
- Regularly and fully utilise Tensar’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in the upkeep and management of customer and sales data in line with agreed protocol
- Communicate internally with colleagues positively and professionally sharing progress, offering solutions, and advising if deadline and/or specifications cannot be achieved
- Communicate professionally and with integrity externally with Clients, Consultants and Contractors in a timely manner
- Consistently produce accurate and fully optimised design package, ensuring all technical and customer information is correct in a timely manner and in line with the Tensar brand to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements and meet customer expectations
- Identify and communicate cross sell opportunities to Commercial Team
- Ensure that risks are addressed in an appropriate manner by following Professional Services Risk Management (PSRM) systems
- Take personal responsibility for improving and developing their own skillset by raising the levels at which they can design after going through the appropriate process
- Taking personal responsibility for a brilliant customer experience, achieving positive net promoter scores and repeat business
- Actively contribute to Continuous improvement
- Take ownership of project including information gathering from the customer when required.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree qualified civil engineer or equivalent with appropriate geotechnical experience
- Working towards excellent knowledge of Tensar systems, solutions, and value propositions
- Good industry knowledge of design codes i.e., BS8006, CDM and others
- Good understanding of risk and PSRM systems
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise
- Good team player and recognise they are part of the wider UK commercial team
- Hold & be able to apply a level of commercial awareness
- Focus on maximizing Gross Margins for Tensar
- Good IT skills with practical experience of Microsoft Office, CRM and other data management systems including an understanding to AutoCAD
