Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Tennis Coach role located in Swansea. The Tennis Coach will deliver individual and group tennis instruction, plan and lead training sessions, and design practice drills that develop technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning. The role involves assessing player abilities, creating tailored development plans, and providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. The Tennis Coach will also communicate regularly with players and families, ensure a safe and inclusive training environment, oversee court and equipment readiness, and support tennis events, clinics, and competitions organized by Tennis365.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Tennis Instruction and Tennis skills with experience coaching players at various levels.
- Canditates should hold a minimum of an LTA Level 2 Qualification, hold a valid DBS, up to date Accreditetion, First Aid and Safeguarding Certificate.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with players, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, including planning sessions, delivering drills, and monitoring player progress.
- Relevant coaching certifications in tennis or sports coaching are highly beneficial.
- Experience working in sports academies, clubs, or schools is preferred.
- Ability to create an inclusive, motivating, and safety-conscious training environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in a full-time on-site setting.
