Tennial Personnel are recruiting a Landscape Operative to join a well-established horticultural company based in Campsea Ashe, Suffolk. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position following 12 successful working weeks.
The role would suit a practical, hardworking and reliable individual who enjoys working outdoors and is comfortable working in all weather conditions. The successful candidate will have experience in tree and hedge planting, soft landscaping and some hard landscaping, alongside strong all-round practical skills. Previous experience operating machinery such as tractors, small diggers or excavators would be highly advantageous. Candidates with backgrounds in farming, agriculture, grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar practical environments are encouraged to apply.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Potential overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out tree and hedge planting and maintenance
- Complete a range of soft landscaping duties
- Assist with hard landscaping projects when required
- Prepare and maintain gardens, grounds and outdoor areas
- Operate machinery including tractors, small diggers and excavators
- Carry out general groundworks and landscaping duties
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with site preparation, planting and general maintenance
- Maintain tools, equipment and machinery
