Tennial Personnel is hiring a PCB Layout Engineer to join our clients innovative team in Ipswich. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM. The role focuses on projects across diverse industries, with an emphasis on microcontroller-based embedded electronics. Your Role: As a PCB Layout Engineer, youll be an integral member of the development team, responsible for creating and optimizing PCB designs that meet customer needs and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Design high-quality PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer. Work on single-layer, multi-layer, and flex PCB designs. Convert electrical schematics into efficient PCB layouts. Optimise component placement and routing for performance, manufacturability, and testability. Ensure compliance with EMC standards and support manufacturability. Generate and manage design documentation, including Gerber files and BOMs. Support prototype testing and troubleshoot as needed. Collaborate with the design and firmware teams for seamless hardware-software integration. Manage project timelines to meet deadlines and milestones. Ability to manage complex projects with multiple deliverables. Excellent customer-facing and interpersonal skills. Desirable Skills: Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout. Experience in Flex PCB designs. Knowledge of signal integrity and power distribution best practices.
