Tennial Personnel are actively seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a well-established logistics operation based in Felixstowe. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:30, with an annual salary of £30,171.96. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take on greater responsibility within a busy, safety-focused warehouse environment — supporting smooth operations and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Counterbalance, MLOP, and Flexi trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain stock accuracy.
- Support, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and teamwork.
- Deputise for the Team Leader when required, ensuring operational continuity.
- Carry out duties as a responsible person, including Fire Marshal, First Aider, and Racking Inspector responsibilities.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Confident working at heights of up to 5 metres.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious.
Qualifications Required
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Experience operating Flexi or HLOP trucks (preferred).
- Previous experience in a senior or lead warehouse position is desirable.
- First Aid or Fire Marshal certification would be an advantage.
