Tennial Personnel are actively seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our client’s expanding electronics production and manufacturing team based in Ipswich. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the opportunity for a permanent contract following a successful 12-week probation period. Working hours are Monday to Friday, either 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to ensure the production of high-quality electronic components. Responsibilities include:
- Operating paste screen printers, reflow ovens, and pick-and-place machines
- Managing stock
- Inspecting assembled products for quality and accuracy
Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced operators and motivated individuals with no prior SMT experience who are eager to learn and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
