Tennial Personnel are actively recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Risby, near Bury St Edmunds. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity with the potential for a permanent contract following a successful 12-week probation period, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with a pay rate of £14.50 per hour. This is a varied and hands-on position that combines Counterbalance Forklift operation with general warehouse duties. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Load and unload deliveries and outgoing vehicles
- Carry out goods-in and goods-out procedures
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Move stock, materials, and finished products throughout the warehouse
- Assist with stock control, stock checks, and inventory management
- Complete relevant warehouse and dispatch documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Support other warehouse and production activities as required

- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, including dispatch and goods-in processes
