Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Pivot (Flexi/Bendi) Forklift Operator to join our client's team within the food production and processing sector in Ipswich. This role involves supporting general warehouse and production operations as directed by the supervisor in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary‑to‑permanent opportunity after a successful 12 week working period, allowing full training to be completed before a permanent contract is offered.
Shift Pattern (Rotating):
- 6:00am – 2:00pm (AM Shift)
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm (PM Shift)
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting warehouse and production activities while maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Pivot (Flexi) forklift safely and efficiently.
- Carry out general warehouse and production duties as instructed by the supervisor.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure correct storage and handling of products in line with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the warehouse and production areas.
- Follow all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Accurately complete relevant documentation and production records.
Skills Required:
- Valid Pivot (Flexi/Bendi) Forklift Licence (essential).
- Previous experience within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
