Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for skilled and reliable Forklift Drivers to join our client’s team in Felixstowe on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity for a permanent role after a 12-week probation period. This role operates on a Monday to Friday shift pattern: 4:30pm to 1am (Counterbalance) - Will need 1 week training on day shifts before you start on nights.
All roles require the willingness to be trained and upskilled onto a variety of forklifts including Flexi, Bendi, PPT and MLOP. The position involves operating a forklift for various warehouse tasks and supporting general warehouse operations. We are looking for a safety-conscious, proactive individual who can handle physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to transport goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock picking, loading, unloading, and product organisation.
- Ensure goods are stored properly to prevent damage and maintain an organised storage area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Support inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.
Skills Required:
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols.
Qualifications Required:
