Tennial Personnel are seeking a permanent Maintenance Engineer (electrical) to work at clients based in Essex. Duties will include:

  • Carrying out all preventive maintenance and repairs on all machinery and equipment.
  • Ensuring all records are kept accurately and complying with current accreditations for the pack house / Factory.
  • Performing tool checks, service records, job repairs, fault finding, and preventive maintenance on packing equipment to maximise reliability and performance.
  • Complying with food and safety standards and controls.
  • Liaising with management and supervisors on a daily basis to ensure all machines and equipment are running correctly.
  • Reporting any required maintenance to management.
  • Ensuring routine maintenance is scheduled and followed.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workshop.
  • Attending and participating fully in meetings if required.
  • Performing all duties as required consistent with training, authority, and experience.
  • Ensuring site hygiene is maintained to the desired standard at all times.
  • Working in a safe way and being aware of health and safety and the health and safety of others.
  • Reporting any unsafe observations to the management team.
  • Completing any reasonable task requested by management.

Electrical engineer experience is essential, working a four days on four days shift pattern (including weekends) with hours of work from 7.00am to 6.00pm. Language skills required include good verbal and written English skills, numeracy, good communication skills, and a working knowledge of hazard and risk assessments.
