Tennial Personnel are recruiting for a Receptionist on behalf of our client based in Ipswich. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful working weeks subject to business requirements. This role is ideal for a friendly, organised, and professional individual looking to join a busy office environment. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, playing a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience while supporting the wider team with administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Answer and manage incoming calls, directing enquiries to the appropriate departments
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, parcels, and deliveries
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
- Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for meetings when required
- Support internal teams with ad hoc administrative duties as required
- Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining diaries where necessary
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, including visitor sign-in processes
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role is desirable
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications Required:
